Sometimes life just sucks...

Well if anyone remembers my previous post about an evil man named Phong whom Dan worked with, Phong finally got his way and Dan was "allowed" to resign last Friday. On that same day we found out that Dans father had a heart attack and needs triple by-pass surgery. Hooray for Trials! So if any of you are in need of a good looking, hard working accountant that would be awesome. If any of you know of someone who needs some freelance design work that would be awesome. If any of you want to trade lives that would be awesome also.

Actually sarcasm aside. We feel pretty good about things. The great thing about Dan is that I know that if we ended up homeless in the wild (I refuse to live on the streets, so wild it is) he would be the first to hunt down some sort of animal to eat. He would dig up grubs, build a fire and carve a pot from the trunk of a tree. So I know that no matter what, we will be taken care of as a family. I also know that no matter what you are thrown in life, there is always a valuable lesson to be learned. So I actually am excited to go through this trial with my family and come out a better person on the other side. Hopefully the other side will involve a job and housing, preferably food, but either way we will have grown!

Amen sista! We'll keep you in our prayers and we'll try to help in any way we can. Oh, by the way, our car broke down and Russell had to push it quite a ways tonight! We can add that to the Romriell family list of trials/adventures. Such is life I guess!

I'll keep my eyes and ears peeled. He could probably find a good job helping people move disgusting wood piles out of their backyard.
Thanks for the help by the way. It was great seeing you guys.

I like your attitude! That is the way to go through trials, because this life is all about trials and how we deal with them. This certainly could end up being a good thing, leaving that evil Phong behind! We will add you to our prayer list and know who ever hires Dan will be getting a real gem!

Tannie, you crack me up... even with the subject matter, your humor is great. That really does suck, I hope things work out for you guys. It seems like there are rough times all over right now. Anyway thanks for the book suggestions... I have TONS of reading for my class this semester, but when it ends that will be the first in queue. If I hear of any jobs, I will let you guys know.

Ah, Tannie. That really does suck. If I hear of any opportunities I'll let you know...we'd love to have you back in Abq. Is his dad doing ok? Corey's dad had one a couple of years ago and it was pretty scary. I hope things get better soon, I love your attitude:)

P.S. If we were living in the woods I think we'd die. Corey couldn't kill an animal if he tried. Maybe I could though...Hmmm, I'd have to be desperate. Nice to know you've got a very resourceful man on your hands.

or, you could come live with us. i make good food. california is a nice place to live when we aren't slinging mud at each other over gay rights and whatnot.
