Something silly

Thought this might be fun.

Post your name and I will do each of the following:
1. I'll respond with something random about you.
2. I'll tell you which song or movie you remind me of.
3. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.
4. I'll tell you my first memory of you.
5. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
6. I'll ask you something I've always wondered about you.
7. I'll tell you my favorite thing about you.
8. I'll tell you my least favorite thing about you.
9. If you play, you MUST post this on yours.

Yay someone wants to play! Alright here it goes for Leilani.

1. I think it is pretty awesome you modeled for Aveda. I know it wasn't the best experience but I just love their products. So (and here is the random part) whenever I think of you or see you I think of the Aveda smell.

2. Mama Mia. Only because we were supposed to see it together and didn't. But still had fun afterwards. :-)

3. You are definitely NOT crafty!

4. You walked up to me at church and introduced yourself as my new Visiting Teaching partner. I didn't know you were you at the time so I thought it was cool because I had seen you around before and always thought you looked like a fun person to get to know. So I was glad to find out you were my partner and it gave me the perfect chance to finally get to know you!

5. I am not really sure. Something graceful, so a swan or something. Although that doesn't fit right. I guess it would just have to be a new "leilani" animal. We would call it the leilanit.

6. How did you ever get interested in running marathons! I remember when we walked together (although it was just a couple times) and you seemed pretty happy with walking. So what got you into running?

7. My favorite thing is how you are just so awesome! I am so glad we still hang out. Even though we aren't in the same ward anymore and you aren't my secretary anymore. I love that you remember your long lost Tannie friend who was left behind in the Carriage Hills Ward.
I also love how you are not afraid to try new things.

8. My least favorite thing is that our schedules don't let us hang out more! Oh well I guess once a week is enough. ;-) Actually I don't think that counts. Does running separately on the same trail count as hanging out? What I mean is like more fun hang out girls night. Hmm perhaps I need to plan one soon.

Hey Tannie I see that this was posted like a week ago, where the devil have I been? But I have read the terms and agreements and I think that I would like to give it a go. So I will post it on my blog.

But I was wondering if I had to reply to the people on my own comments or send it to them via email, or on their comments? Let me know.

1. I love that you call James Oiga. I wish I had a nickname that awesome. Oh well, I guess I will stick with Dan the Man. :-)

2. Well right now the movie would be twilight...:-) as far as a song goes I have no idea why but Mr. Roboto jumped into my head. Maybe that should be the random thing for number one.

3. Postal Office. But it all turned out okay.

4. My first real memory of you (I won't count Russells wedding because I was way to distracted) was at your baby shower for Gwen. I thought you were so funny and pretty! I was wondering how James met you because there is no way someone that cute came from Mt. Pleasant. :-) I knew you would be someone I would like and hey...I was right!

5. Dolphin, only because of the swimming thing. I know, not very original.

6. How do you stand being at home without a car! You must be the most patient person alive! I get so antsy being at home. So I wonder if you have a secret I can learn from?

7. Hmmm just one? I love your swoopy hair. It doesn't seem to matter which hair style you have it is always awesome!!! I can understand why it would be worth flying to Utah for your stylist. :-) Also I love how funny you are and your great sense of style! I think I need you to do my wardrobe for me. Also I love your fun vocabulary choices. You are so creative in the way you express yourself!

8. Okay so I do not like how you seem to be able to just pop back to your pre-baby weight in like weeks. What is up with that!!! I run and run and run and can't seem to lose a pound and you look like you never even had one kid, let alone two! So lots of jealousy on that point.

alright Tannie, since you left a comment your number is up. I have posted the raw deal, and there is nothing that you can do about it now.

I completely dropped the ball on this. In fact I downright forgot about it. Cool! Now I have something to post, you know since my brain is fried and I can't think. No, really. No thinking going on up there. At all.

Lol.

Oh - the running think. I've never really felt atheltic and pretty consider myself a wimp when it comes to being a tough girl. So after I have those 5 weeks of training with Heather I began to see that I actually pretty good at "tough". And one day I just decided to see how far I could run in 30 min. I went 3 miles and voila, I was hooked. Because I really never thought I could do that. Cool, huh? And sicne I began I have felt like the only way to improve was to add mileage (since- as you know- I'm no speed demon). Now I feel like distance is my thing. :)

You know I am so glad that I explained the fried brain first, that way you can understand why I have so many typos in my last comment. Sheesh.

I am intrigued

Catherine (Brown) the one in Leander...you remember right?

Catherine????? Who is Catherine? J/K of course I know who you are silly. Here is goes.

1. Because I was a witness to the Great Curtain Fiasco of 2007, later known as The Brown Curtain Event. Every time I see curtains I think of you!

2. Something about sunshine because of you sun-shiny hair.

3. Parallel lives.

4. I saw you off in the distance at church and thought "oh, she looks fun." Hey and I was right!

5. A cat. I have no idea why.

6. Hmmmm, I have pretty much asked you everything I have wanted to know. Lets see "Where did you get that awesome dress/jacket you wore Sunday because I just might steal it?"

7. I love that you are such a fun mom! You will get right on the playground and run around with your kids. That is great!

8. I am very jealous of all the traveling you get to do. Not fair!!! :-)
